Workshop for Art Educators

FICA and Asia Art Archive Learning & Participation Programme invite applications for a workshop for art educators titled ‘Learning Paradigms Today’. The specially designed, four-day intensive workshop will bring together young artists and educators who are passionate and invested in learning about contemporary art and education. Using AAA’s Learning at Home series, creative exercises contributed by artist-educators to inspire teachers, as a springboard, the workshop will focus on helping participants develop their own modules, while becoming cognisant of learners’ needs. Noting the sudden shift towards digital as the primary mode of learning from a socially distanced standpoint, the workshop aims to address some of the questions and challenges that educators are facing currently, looking at the medium of technology and understanding the current contexts of learners with a special emphasis on emotional well-being and systems of support. It will provide a collective forum to think through various components that inform the classroom today via lectures, presentations, exercises, sharing and writing sessions. We look forward to working collectively towards building expertise and resources together! Last date to register: 30 July 2020 To register, please send us your CV with special emphasis on educator related experiences as well as a short Statement of Interest on why you want to be part of the workshop (200 words). Send the documents to info@ficart.org. Visit this link for more information: https://aaa.org.hk/…/learning-paradigms-today-workshop-for-…
