Sustainability or Extinction Webinar

Sustainable living means understanding how our daily lifestyle choices impact the world around us and finding ways for everyone to live lighter and better. A sustainable lifestyle takes into account what we eat, where we live, locomotion, socialization, energy use, waste disposal and more. Simply put, being sustainable means meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. What this essentially means is that we work towards lowering waste and negative impact as much as possible and achieving a cycle that can be repeated indefinitely without cumulative damage or harm to living things In a world stretched thin for resources and under the threat of global biodiversity loss and climate change, our lifestyle decisions are putting the planet at risk. What we need now, is targeted action. The webinar seeks to inspire individuals and communities into action and presents a lot of do-able examples and solutions from around the world, especially from the facilitator’s own experiences in Auroville. Who is your target audience? All those with an interest in sustainability and an awareness that each of us is responsible for the world we live in. What will be the outcome of the workshop? An inner evolutionary step by participants that will motivate each one to step up to a new level of becoming part of the solution rather than part of the problem.
